Somatic Realities
Course Description
AI’s view of methodology is techno—centric, AI is often discussed as being a technology that realises technical paradigms such as neutral networks through pipelines of methods for processing data and training and validating algorithms. If, however, we reconsider AI to instead be an experience that is co-constructed by people (e.g. artists and audiences), via the technology, then we also need to bring human-centred and co-design methodologies from HCI into play, alongside artistic methods for creative exploration, rigorous production, archival documentation and critique.
